Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to the engineering department, including mechanical, electrical and maintenance teams.
• Ensure compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act and engineering legislation.
• Fulfil responsibilities of the appointed 2.13.1 Engineering Manager, or be eligible for appointment.
• Develop maintenance strategies to maximise equipment reliability and performance.
• Manage engineering budgets, capital expenditure and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive asset management and lifecycle planning for optimal plant performance.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with standards.
• Partner with production teams to achieve business objectives.
