Eng/Afr N3-6;qual Electrician; 5 years exp in an abattoir/meat processing plant/food factory/to maintain/repair/ optimise electrical/automated systems/ensure uninterrupted production. Experienced on electrical systems/fault finding/ preventative maintenance/programming & fault finding of PLC systems/ refrigeration system/cold room operation/ working with abattoir/ slaughter line equipment/conveyors/processing machines. Able to read/interpret electrical drawings/ schematics/familiar with motor control centres/MCCs/ VSDs/drives/control panels. Must be self-motivated and reliable/have good communication/teamwork problem-solving/analytical skills/display attention to detail/ safety awareness/able to work in a high-pressure/fast-paced production environment. Must perform routine maintenance/ inspections/repairs /troubleshooting on all electrical/automated systems/ refrigeration systems/ cold rooms/temperature control equipment/conduct advanced fault finding on PLCs/ production lines/processing equipment/ ensure optimal functioning of slaughter line equipment/ hoists/ conveyors /cutting machinery/ assist with installation/ upgrades/commissioning of new equipment/systems. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports/minimize downtime/support continuous production efficiency/ ensure compliance with HSE standards/food safety requirements.
