Site Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Support Site Manager in executing daily construction activities.
- Supervise & monitor installation of substation equipment (circuit breakers, transformers, busbars, Control & protection, Telecommunication, earthing etc.).
- Ensure that construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for technical clarifications.
- Review and maintain site documentation, drawings, and work permits.
- Assist in testing, inspection, and commissioning activities under supervision.
- Report daily progress, site issues, and resource requirements to Site Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Power Engineering.
- Knowledge of HV substation equipment such as CB, DS, CT, VT, power transformers, busbars, and earthing systems
- Ability to read single-line diagrams, schematic diagrams, protection diagrams, and wiring drawings
- Experience or knowledge of 110kV or above substation projects is preferred.
- Good understanding of site safety requirements and construction work procedures.
- Good proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
Language Requirements
- Proficient in English for site communication, reporting, and coordination.
