Viking Fishing has the position available for a Site Manager, based at Viking Airport Depot.
PURPOSE- To oversee the cold store operations and ensure the efficient day to day administrative, OHS and operational requirements of Viking Airport Depot
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS- Ensure the smooth operation of the Airport Depot Cold Stores via the Airport Depot’s Cold Store Supervisor.
- Managing the sites OHS requirements on a daily basis
- Overseeing all staff requirements in terms of OHS needs, time and attendance as well as training requirements
- Manage all HR matters associated with the above duties, in liaison with the Viking Fishing Division’s HR department
POSITION REQUIREMENTS- Proactive, with strong managerial and administrative skills
- Strong operational OHS experience (Knowledge and experience)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Working knowledge of applicable labour laws and experience in applying these
- Facilities management experience, and strong communication skills
- Able and willing to work afterhours and weekends as and when required.
