Role Overview
- DTA is looking for a "Creative Powerhouse"—a multi-talented individual who can capture the vibrant life of our school and translate it into compelling digital content.
- This role combines Social Media Management, Graphic Design, and Video Editing to build our brand, engage parents, and showcase our students' achievements in STEM, Arts, and Sports.
- You will be the visual storyteller of DTA, ensuring our online presence is as professional and innovative as our curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management & Strategy:
- Content Calendar: Plan and execute a weekly posting schedule across Instagram, Facebook, X Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Community Engagement: Respond to comments/DMs, engage with educational influencers, and manage parent-teacher digital communication groups.
- Live Coverage: Provide "real-time" coverage of school events Inter-house sports, Spelling Bees, Graduation via Stories and Reels.
Graphic Design & Branding:
- Marketing Materials:Design flyers, brochures, and banners for school events like "Career Day" or "Culture Day."
- Digital Assets:Create high-quality thumbnails, carousels, and infographics that explain school projects e.g., "How our Robotics program works".
- Identity Maintenance:Ensure all designs align with DTA’s brand colors, fonts, and professional tone.
Video Editing & Production:
- Event Recaps:Film and edit high-energy highlight reels of school ceremonies and competitions.
- Educational Content:Create short-form videos TikToks/Reels showcasing student projects in Coding, Music, and French.
- Post-Production:Handle color grading, audio cleaning, and adding subtitles/motion graphics to make videos "pop."
Technical Toolkit Preferred
Tools:
- Design: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva Pro
- Video: Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve
- Social: Meta Business Suite, Buffer/Hootsuite, TikTok/Instagram Analytics
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous graphic design and video editing work Mandatory.
- Eye for Detail: An "aesthetic" sense for layout, typography, and video pacing.
- Speed: Ability to turn around "recap videos" quickly after an event.
- Communication: Ability to interview students and teachers to get the best "soundbites" for videos.

- Storytelling: You don't just "post"; you tell the story of a student's journey from a blank page to a finished Coding project.
- Adaptability: Comfortable moving between a quiet office and a loud, busy sports field to get the perfect shot.
