The ideal candidate, must have worked in a fast-paced, upmarket bistro style dining establishment with high volumeDuties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:Staff managementStock managementOpening and closing of the kitchenHealth, Safety and hygiene standardsTraining, mentoring and upskilling of junior staffRunning the pass and coordinating serviceGeneral administration (stock takes / procurement)In the absence of the head chef - oversight of the kitchen
Qualifications:
- Culinary diploma
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Computer literate
- Own reliable vehicle
- 4 years in a similar role
