Salary: ₦240,000 and above based on qualifications, experience, and clinical expertise
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children and adults.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals and home-based exercises.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in case reviews and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Provide home care, outreach, and on-call services when required by the clinic.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and Language Therapy, Speech Pathology, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Relevant professional certification or registration is an added advantage.
Working Schedule:
- Approximately four 4 working days per week, subject to patient bookings and clinic requirements.
- Candidates must be willing to work on a rotational basis during weekends Saturdays and Sundays based on patient availability and operational needs.
- Flexibility to accommodate changing schedules and on-call assignments is essential.
Employment Terms:
- Successful candidates will initially be engaged on a six 6 month contract.
- Upon successful completion of the contract period and satisfactory performance review, candidates may be considered for confirmation as full-time employees.
