support our talent sourcing and recruitment strategies across Mauritius and the
wider African continent.
Job Overview:
- The Talent Acquisition
Officer shall assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, employing updated
techniques and best practices in talent sourcing and selection, including the
use of AI-powered tools to automate screening, shortlisting, and candidate engagement.
Experience in a fast-moving sector is crucial to effectively attract, identify,
and onboard talents efficiently.
- Responsible for
assisting in innovative sourcing strategies, effectively managing candidate
pipelines, conducting interviews, and coordinating with Hiring Managers to
fulfill staffing needs promptly.
- Utilize data-driven
insights to improve recruitment processes, enhance candidate experience, and
maintain a strong employer brand.
- This role is vital in
assisting to build a high-performing team aligned with STM Consulting goals,
ensuring the company remains competitive in attracting the best talent.
- Execute a comprehensive,
high-quality Induction and Onboarding program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Sourcing and Attraction
• Develop and implement modern
sourcing strategies using social media, job boards, networking, and
industry events.
• Utilize updated techniques such as AI-driven tools, talent analytics,
and social media recruiting to identify top candidates efficiently.
• Build and maintain talent pools for current and future hiring needs.
- Candidate Screening and Selection
• Review applications/CVs to
shortlist suitable candidates.
• Conduct behavioral and competency-based interviews, assessing technical
skills and cultural fit.
• Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure alignment on candidate
profiles and selection criteria.
- Employer Branding and Candidate Experience
• Promote STM Consulting as an
employer of choice through innovative campaigns and communication.
• Ensure a positive, professional, and timely candidate experience
throughout the recruitment process.
• Maintain engagement with candidates via regular updates and feedback.
- Recruitment Process Management
• Manage end-to-end recruitment
activities, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and offer
negotiations.
• Use updated ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and HRIS tools to track
recruitment metrics and candidate status.
• Ensure compliance with legal and organizational policies during the
recruitment process.
- Data-Driven Recruitment Improvement
• Analyze recruitment data to
identify bottlenecks, improve sourcing channels, and optimize hiring
strategies.
• Generate reports on recruitment KPIs such as time-to-fill, quality of
hire, and candidate satisfaction.
• Stay informed on industry trends and new recruitment technologies to
continuously enhance the process.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
• Work closely with the HR
Manager, hiring managers, and Heads of Departments to understand staffing
needs.
• Foster strong relationships with external recruitment agencies,
institutions, and industry networks.
- Induction and Onboarding Program
•
Develop and implement a
structured induction process to facilitate smooth integration of new hires into
the organization.
•
Coordinate with relevant
departments to ensure onboarding activities are comprehensive, engaging,
and aligned with company policies.

Gather feedback from new
employees to continuously improve the onboarding experience and ensure
they are well-equipped to succeed in their roles.
8. Candidate Engagement and Documentation
Management
•
Prepare and review
accurate and compelling job descriptions and advertisements to attract suitable
candidates.
•
Draft employment
contracts, offer letters, and other relevant correspondence in compliance with
company policies and legal requirements.

Provide timely and
constructive feedback to all candidates throughout the recruitment
process to enhance their experience and maintain a positive employer
brand.
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Human
Resources or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of
experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably in a fast-paced, competitive
environment.
- Proven expertise in
utilizing modern recruitment tools, social media sourcing, and data analytics.
- Experience with ATS
systems, HRIS tools, and AI-powered recruitment platforms.
- Familiarity with
AI-driven candidate tracking, automated screening workflows, and predictive
hiring analytics.
- Knowledge of employment
laws and best practices in recruitment, including ethical and compliant use of
AI tools in hiring processes.
