Key Responsibilities:
- Assess plant equipment and identify wear, abrasion, and corrosion challenges
- Design and specify wear lining solutions (ceramic, rubber, polyurethane, composite linings)
- Recommend and oversee corrosion protection systems and industrial coatings
- Plan and supervise site installations and maintenance projects
- Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and troubleshooting
- Engage with clients, present technical solutions, and provide ongoing support
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop cost-effective and durable solutions
Requirements:- National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or similar
- 3–6 years’ experience in: Wear lining / liner systems, Corrosion protection / industrial coatings, Bulk materials handling or mining environments
- Experience on mining or heavy industrial sites (essential)
- Knowledge of:
- Ceramic, rubber, or polyurethane lining systems
- Protective coatings and surface preparation standards (SANS / SSPC advantageous)
- Ability to diagnose equipment wear and failure issues

- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Willing to travel nationally to client sites
