About the Role:

Technical Team Lead Jobs in Lusaka As the Technical Team Lead, you will spearhead the architecture and delivery of Smart Invoice integrations across diverse sectors including ERP, POS, retail, utilities, fuel, and logistics.

This role combines strong technical leadership with commercial insight to ensure successful implementation of digital invoicing solutions that meet regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and deployment of Smart Invoice integrations across multiple industry sectors.

Manage and mentor a team of integration engineers to achieve project goals. Oversee end-to-end project delivery, including scope definition, budgeting, risk management, go-live coordination, and post-implementation support.

Support business development activities by contributing to solution scoping, proposal writing, cost estimation, and client engagement. Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, partners, and regulatory authorities.

Ensure all Smart Invoicing solutions comply with relevant standards and regulatory requirements. Qualifications and Experience At least 10 years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, or related technology fields.

Demonstrated technical leadership capabilities. Practical experience with fiscalisation, e-invoicing, or tax authority integrations, preferably with ZRA Smart Invoice.

Strong expertise in API development, middleware solutions, and ERP/POS system integrations. Professional certifications in Project Management or Agile methodologies such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or PRINCE2 are required.

Excellent commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills. Must hold valid membership and practicing licence with the ICT Association of Zambia (ICTAZ).

Additional Advantages Experience managing projects across multiple African countries. Familiarity with government or public-sector digital transformation programmes.
