Job Summary
The Coca-Cola Company is looking for a qualified and experienced Mechanical Technician to support maintenance, equipment installations, commissioning, breakdown repairs, and project work within its operations.

Key Responsibilities
Mechanical Maintenance
- Assemble, install, align and dismantle mechanical equipment
- Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical faults and recommend repair solutions
- Conduct equipment alignment, balancing and lubrication
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
- Support equipment upgrades, shutdowns and commissioning activities
- Collaborate with engineers, electricians and production teams
Project & Installation Work
- Carry out machinery modifications and installations
- Assist in optimizing manufacturing processes
- Conduct feasibility and cost analysis studies
- Ensure all changes are incorporated into the PM system
- Work closely with consultants and contractors to ensure Coca-Cola standards are maintained
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to occupational health and safety policies
- Ensure proper use of PPE
- Maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment
Minimum Requirements
- Completed relevant Apprenticeship Program
- Trade Tested and Qualified Mechanical Fitter
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- FMCG experience is an added advantage
- Good communication and technical skills
- Knowledge of mechanical/electrical codes and standards

- Create and manage purchase requisitions, RFQs, purchase orders, and contracts in SAP
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers
- Utilize e-sourcing platforms such as Keelvar for competitive bidding
- Ensure timely availability of critical engineering materials

- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and QSE standards

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years procurement/buying experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environments
- Strong SAP MM knowledge
- Experience sourcing engineering spares and technical materials
- Knowledge of supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and cost analysis
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
