Accounting Officer

Role Overview
The Accounting Officer will oversee daily financial operations, ensure regulatory
compliance, and maintain accurate financial records to support strategic decisionmaking.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare, analyze, and reconcile financial statements, general ledgers, and bank statements.
• Manage tax compliance, returns filing, and statutory obligations.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations.
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure internal financial controls are strictly adhered to.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CA, or CIS) is a distinct advantage.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proficiency in modern accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP) and advanced MS Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with impeccable attention to detail.
