About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Fire Technician to join our team. The
successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, inspection, testing,
servicing, maintenance, and repair of fire protection and fire detection systems to
ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
Install, inspect, test, service, and maintain fire extinguishers, hose reels, hydrants, fire
alarms, smoke detectors, sprinkler systems, and related fire protection equipment.
Conduct routine fire safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
Diagnose faults and perform repairs on fire detection and suppression systems.

Ensure all fire equipment complies with relevant Zimbabwean safety regulations and standards.
Prepare inspection reports, service records, maintenance schedules, and compliance documentation.
Provide recommendations for corrective actions and system improvements.
Conduct fire equipment demonstrations and basic fire safety training for clients and staff.
Respond to emergency maintenance call-outs when required.
Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in good working condition.
Liaise professionally with clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.

Minimum Qualifications
Five (5) O-Level passes including English Language, Mathematics, and Science.
Valid Certificate of competence e.g.: In the installation an servicing of fire extinguishers, fire hose reels and fire sprinklers
Proof of registration
Driver’s license
Minimum of 3 years’ practical experience in fire protection systems installation and
maintenance.
