- Oversee and manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the organization, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Manage office facilities, equipment, utilities, maintenance, and vendor relationships.
- Lead, supervise, and develop the administrative team, setting performance standards and conducting appraisals.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve administrative policies, procedures, and systems.
- Support cross-functional departments with administrative and operational requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation, filing systems, and record management in line with company standards and ensure confidentiality and integrity of organizational information and records.
- Plan and oversee logistics for internal and external meetings, corporate events, and executive travel.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the administrative department and other business units, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor administrative budgets, control expenses, and ensure cost efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and health & safety standards and compliances.
- Manage and monitor the administrative budget, track expenditures, and report variances to management.
- Coordinate facility management and ensure a safe, well-maintained, and functional work environment.
- Handle sensitive and confidential matters with the highest degree of professionalism and discretion.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is an added advantage.
- 5 – 8 years of progressive experience in administrative management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial organization is highly desirable.
- Professional certification in administration, management, or a related discipline is an added advantage.
- Proven track record of managing teams and driving operational improvements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability with sound judgement.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and enterprise management software.
