Business Development Officer and Loan Processing Officer We invite applications for the following critical roles within our organisation:

Business Development Officer – Lusaka Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients to expand the company’s loan portfolio.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow loan products and services.
• Conduct field marketing activities and generate high-quality leads.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with individuals, businesses, and strategic partners.
• Identify and develop corporate and payroll partnership opportunities.
• Promote products through diverse marketing channels, including social media.
• Follow up on prospects to convert inquiries into successful business transactions.
• Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and trends.
• Maintain existing client relationships and encourage referrals.
• Prepare regular reports detailing leads, conversions, partnerships, and marketing efforts.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
• Experience in financial services, banking, microfinance, or lending is an advantage.
• At least 2 years’ driving experience with a valid driver’s license.
• Strong skills in sales, negotiation, networking, and communication.
• Confidence in engaging clients and generating leads independently.
• Good knowledge of social media and digital marketing platforms.
• Proactive, professional, and results-oriented mindset.

Loan Processing Officer – Lusaka Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, review, and verify loan applications and supporting documentation.
• Ensure all Know Your Customer (KYC) and client documentation is complete and accurate.
• Capture and maintain precise client and loan information within company systems.
• Conduct preliminary verification of employment, income, and business details.
• Facilitate credit reference checks and compile relevant information for credit assessment.
• Communicate with applicants regarding outstanding documents and application status.
• Prepare comprehensive loan files for credit assessment and approval.
• Draft loan agreements and ensure documentation compliance prior to disbursement.
• Maintain organised and confidential physical and electronic client files.
• Update loan records and track applications throughout the processing cycle.
• Coordinate with Credit, Finance, and other departments to ensure efficient loan processing.
• Provide professional and timely feedback to clients throughout the application process.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in banking, microfinance, lending, credit administration, or loan processing.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with loan management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organisational and record-keeping abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity and professionalism.
• Capacity to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated accountability and ethical conduct.
