Fibre Engineer

Job Description

• Install, test, and maintain fiber optic cables and network systems.
• Perform fiber splicing, termination, and cable repairs.
• Conduct network troubleshooting and resolve fiber connectivity issues.
• Use testing equipment such as OTDR and power meters to verify network performance.
• Carry out site surveys and assist in planning fiber network installations.
• Ensure all installations comply with safety and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with technicians, contractors, and network engineers to complete projects efficiently.
• Respond to network faults and provide timely technical support to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 - 4 years experience.
