Our client is a growing mining organisation seeking a commercially focused Financial Analyst to support strategic decision-making across operations. You will work closely with leadership teams to analyse performance, identify opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations that improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop financial models and business cases
- Analyse operational and financial performance
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles
- Prepare management reports and executive presentations
- Monitor KPIs and provide trend analysis
- Evaluate capital projects and investment opportunities
- Partner with operational teams to improve business performance
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar
- CIMA completed or in progress advantageous
- 3–6 years' experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, or Commercial Finance
- Exposure to mining, resources, manufacturing, or industrial sectors advantageous
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel and reporting tool experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
