Progressive Poultry Limited T/A Tiger Chicks is inviting applications from suitably qualified and motivated individuals to fill the following positions:
1. Hatchery Man
Responsibilities
- Assist in hatchery operations and chick handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the hatchery.
- Monitor hatchery equipment and report faults.
- Follow company procedures and biosecurity measures.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Full Grade 12 Certificate.
- Must be able to read and write.
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Honest, hardworking, and disciplined.
2. Administration Driver
Responsibilities
- Transport staff and company goods safely and efficiently.
- Deliver documents and materials as required.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and well maintained.
- Observe road safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate vehicle and fuel records.
Requirements
- Minimum of Grade 12 Certificate.
- Valid manual driving licence class C and above.
- At least 2 years’ experience driving around the country.
- Experience driving big trucks.
- Good decision-making skills and time keeping.
- Must be reliable, mature, and responsible.
3. Chick Delivery Driver
Responsibilities
- Deliver chicks safely and on time to customers across the country.
- Ensure proper handling and transportation of chicks.
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips.
- Maintain delivery records and vehicle logbooks.
- Observe biosecurity and safety procedures during deliveries.
Requirements
- Minimum of Grade 12 Certificate.
- Valid manual driving licence class C and above.
- At least 2 years’ experience driving around the country.
- Experience driving big trucks.
- Good decision-making skills and time keeping.
- Ability to work flexible hours and long-distance routes.
