Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff and food preparation activities.
Plan menus and ensure consistent food quality and presentation.
Monitor stock levels and manage inventory and ordering of supplies.
Ensure compliance with health, safety and food hygiene regulations.
Control food costs and minimise wastage.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and kitchen organisation.
Train and mentor kitchen staff.
Experience & Qualification
National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
Culinary qualification advantageous.
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
Strong leadership and kitchen management skills.
Knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.
