Clean guest rooms, meeting
rooms, lobbies and other common areas of the hotel, villas and welcome centre
·
Vacuum, clean, dust and polish
guest rooms
·
Replace guest amenities and
supplies in rooms, such as toiletries, glasses, mugs, linens, towels,
tissues, coffee, printed materials, and laundry bags according to standards
·
Operate various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums,
polishers & buffers
·
Mop, empty trash and change bed
and bath linens in each room
·
Wash and dry the linens and
keeping them available at all times
·
Wash
windows
·
Clean
wash basins, mirrors, commodes, tubs and showers daily
·
Monitor
and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
·
Attend
to all everyday routines in a restroom, elevator, back areas, and patio
·
Assist
in maintaining a safe work environment for all team members and guests
through visual inspection of common area(s) during shift.
·
Check
all vacant rooms daily to keep fresh
·
Report
any needed repairs immediately to supervisor
·
Work
under direction and policies of the company
·
Ensure that
safety and security measures are maintained within own area of responsibility
·
Ensure that
the highest standard of personal health and hygiene are maintained at all
times
·
Demonstrate
a positive personal image presented to the guests at all times
·
Ensure that
all keys are signed in and signed out upon end of shift. No keys are borrowed
to other persons.
·
Report any
lost property immediately to the office, with information of found location,
time and other specific information.
·
Fill in
daily work assignment sheets correctly at all times
Required skills: • Be
able to stand for long periods of time
• Be
able to function for extended periods in all environmental conditions
• Knowledge
of cleaning and sanitation products
• Understand
how to properly clean sensitive materials such as wood without damaging them
• Must
be able kneel, crouch and/or crawl
• Flexible
• Team

to work on odd hours
• Must
be able to work around chemical cleaning solutions
• Must
know how to properly use cleaning equipment such as a vacuum cleaner
• Must
be self-motivated and able to complete tasks with little or no supervision
