Key Responsibilities

Data Management and Analytics

  • Source, consolidate, clean, validate, and manage data from accounting systems, SharePoint, semantic models, and Excel-based sources to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, anomalies, margin risks, and business performance patterns.
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reporting solutions using Excel.
  • Build and maintain data models that support forecasting, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
  • Automate recurring reports and data processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs, sales targets, budgets, and performance scorecards aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure consistency and governance of key metrics across sales and business reporting.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on Sales Division performance.

Pricing Management

  • Maintain customer price books for Fuel and Lubricants.
  • Manage monthly pricing updates and ensure pricing accuracy across systems.
  • Work closely with sales teams to investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies and spot price variances.

Business Development and Strategic Support

  • Support tender submissions and new business development initiatives.
  • Compile client-facing information and communication materials.
  • Provide analytical support for presentations and business proposals.
  • Deliver data-driven insights that support growth initiatives and margin optimisation strategies.

Requirements

Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

  • A degree in a business-related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an office or administrative role within an operationally intensive business environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Power BI would be advantageous, but is not essential.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills with a keen attention to detail.
