Job Description:
- Perform mechanical testing, including compression, tensile, and flexural testing on concrete, steel, and composite materials
- Prepare, mix, cast, and cure material samples to ensure accurate and reliable test results
- Assist engineering teams with the assembly, setup, and testing of structural prototypes
- Capture, analyse, and report test data while maintaining detailed records and visual documentation
- Maintain laboratory equipment, monitor inventory levels, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Skills & Experience: - Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a materials testing or engineering laboratory environment
- Working knowledge of SANS, ASTM, and/or ISO testing standards
- Strong data recording, analysis, and reporting capabilities
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience with composite materials and hydraulic testing equipment will be advantageous
Qualification:- National Diploma, BTech, or BSc in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
