We are seeking a qualified and experienced Lecturer in Forensic Financial Accounting to join our Academic Department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing students with the knowledge and practical skills required to investigate financial crimes, detect and prevent fraud, and support legal and regulatory processes through forensic accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Forensic Financial Accounting and related disciplines.
- Equip students with competencies in Forensic Accounting Investigations, Forensic Auditing, Litigation Support, and Fraud Examination.
- Create awareness and understanding of the legislation governing economic and financial crimes, including relevant common law principles and rules of evidence.
- Provide guidance on investigative techniques, methodologies, and tools used in forensic accounting and fraud investigations.
- Expose students to best practices in fraud risk management, fraud prevention, and internal control systems.
- Facilitate practical and case-based learning activities that enhance analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- Supervise student projects, research activities, and practical assignments.
- Participate in curriculum development, student assessment, academic advising, and other departmental activities as required.
Requirements
- Honors Degree in Accounting, Forensic Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field.
- Master's degree will be an added advantage.
- All qualifications must be recognized by the Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA).
- Applicants with foreign qualifications must provide proof of BQA evaluation.
- A minimum of two (2) years teaching experience at tertiary education level.
- Strong knowledge of forensic accounting, auditing, fraud examination, and financial investigations.
- Sound understanding of legislation and regulations relating to economic and financial crimes.
- Excellent analytical, investigative, and report-writing skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to apply practical industry knowledge to teaching and learning.
