Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Legal Administration Assistant to provide administrative support to a legal team. This is a temporary, part-time position requiring availability 3 days per week. The successful candidate will assist with legal administration, compliance requirements, FICA processes, and provide support to lawyers with various operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities
Provide general administrative support to the legal team and lawyers

  • Assist lawyers with day-to-day administrative requirements
  • Manage and maintain lawyer diaries, appointments, and schedules
  • Handle FICA documentation and ensure compliance requirements are met
  • Assist with legal compliance processes and record keeping
  • Maintain accurate client files and administrative records
  • Coordinate correspondence and documentation
  • Provide general office support as required
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience working in a law firm
  • Knowledge and understanding of FICA requirements
  • At least 1 year’s experience in legal administration and compliance processes
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information responsibly
  • Familiarity with LPC (Legal Practice Council) requirements would be advantageous
 
Package:
  • Salary negotiable
  • 2 – 3 days per week
  • Pretoria East (office-based)
