PAYROLL OFFICER CUM GENERAL CASHIER

 

Responsibilities:

-      Maintain accurate payroll records, process employee data, manage deductions and prepare payroll reports

-      Collect cash and checks from various sources, prepare bank deposits

-      Maintain detailed records of all cash and payroll transactions and ensure they are accurate and secure

-      Ensure the confidentiality and security of payroll information and cash funds, maintain secure procedures for handling

-      Reconcile daily cash amounts, petty cash and accounts to ensure all transactions balance correctly

 

Requirements:

-      Bachelor’s degree or diploma in accounting, Finance, Human Resources Management or hospitality management

-      1-3 years experience in payroll, cash handling or general accounting, ideally within the hospitality industry

-      Ability to process timely multi-departmental payroll including hourly, salaried accurately

-      Strong understanding of Catering & Tourism Remuneration Order and Workers Rights Act and statutory deductions

-      High proficiency in Sicorax HR software and Microsoft Excel skills

-      Strict adherence to data privacy

-      Sharp attention to detail to investigate overages/shortages and maintain accurate daily financial reports

-      Ability to work efficiently under strict deadlines

-      Excellent verbal and written communication

-      Strong critical-thinking skills to resolve payroll discrepancies and cash variances
