Professional Construction Manager – Roads

An exciting opportunity exists for a Professional Construction Manager to join our client on a significant SANRAL infrastructure development in Gauteng. They are seeking a seasoned construction professional who can successfully lead complex roads and earthworks projects from execution through to completion.

Requirements:

·        Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Studies

·        Professional registration with SACPCMP is mandatory

·        Proven experience on SANRAL roads and earthworks projects

·        Strong knowledge of civil infrastructure construction processes

·        Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale project teams

·        Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

·        Strong commercial and contractual awareness

Responsibilities:

·        Direct and manage daily construction operations

·        Ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements

·        Coordinate labour, plant, materials, and subcontractor activities

·        Track project milestones and maintain programme performance

·        Identify and mitigate construction risks

·        Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders

·        Drive compliance with SANRAL requirements and industry best practices

·        Support successful project delivery through effective leadership and planning
