Role Overview
The Project Engineer will support the Engineering team in the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering projects.
This is a mid-level role offering hands-on exposure to design, project coordination, quality control, and site-based engineering activities. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to high technical standards, while developing toward a more senior position.
Key Requirements
  • BTech / National Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering
  • BSc / BEng (advantageous)
  • 2–5 years’ experience in project engineering or project management
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Experience with CAD/drawing software
  • Knowledge of MS Projects or similar tools (advantageous)
  • Valid driver’s licence and own transport
Advantage: Experience with boilers, burners, pressure vessels, or industrial/thermal systems.
Key Responsibilities
Contract & Project Delivery (Core Focus)
  • Support project planning, coordination, and execution
  • Assist with technical design work (layouts, P&IDs, drawings)
  • Prepare and manage project documentation and data packs
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and engineering requirements
  • Assist with logistics, materials, and project timelines
Field Service & Technical Support
  • Gain exposure to boilers, burners, and combustion systems
  • Support site activities, job packs, and technical documentation
  • Assist with monitoring quality, safety, and performance on-site
Administration & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate project records and reporting systems
  • Assist with procurement, coordination, and internal communication
  • Support data tracking, analysis, and progress reporting
