Position Summary

The Recruitment Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the recruitment function, with a strong focus on high-volume recruitment within the supply chain, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, and distribution sectors. The role involves sourcing candidates, screening applications, coordinating interviews, maintaining candidate databases, ensuring compliance with client requirements, and supporting the placement of temporary and permanent employees.

The successful candidate must be highly organised, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and capable of managing multiple vacancies simultaneously while delivering an excellent candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advertise vacancies across various recruitment platforms.

  • Source suitable candidates using job boards, social media, databases and referrals.

  • Screen CVs and conduct telephonic pre-screening interviews.

  • Schedule interviews, assessments and inductions.

  • Verify candidate documentation and ensure compliance with client requirements.

  • Conduct reference checks where required.

  • Capture and maintain accurate candidate information on the recruitment database.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified blue-collar candidates.

  • Coordinate bulk recruitment campaigns and recruitment days.

  • Prepare candidate packs and employment documentation.

  • Liaise with recruitment consultants and clients regarding interview schedules and placement requirements.

  • Maintain accurate recruitment reports and vacancy trackers.

  • Assist with onboarding administration for successful candidates.

  • Ensure recruitment files are complete and compliant.

  • Provide administrative support to the recruitment team as required.

Minimum RequirementsEducation
  • Grade 12 (Matric) (Essential)

  • HR, Business Administration or related qualification (Advantageous)

Experience
  • 1–2 years' recruitment administration experience.

  • Previous experience within a labour broker, temporary employment service (TES), recruitment agency or high-volume recruitment environment will be advantageous.

  • Experience recruiting warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or supply chain staff is preferred.
