What you will enjoy doing
- You will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals (Senior Sales Representatives) to manage and grow revenue for Zambia in line with Company goals and objectives.
- You will ensure the region meets or exceeds financial targets for sales, margin, and operating profit
- Create sales plans and Key Performance Indicators for the region to achieve sales objectives
- Secure long-term Product Service Agreements with Afrox customers
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively and maximize market share by coordinating with Afrox marketing programs
- Creating a positive environment that encourages sales growth is key, so you’ll lead initiatives that help the team succeed
- Regularly, you’ll meet with Senior Sales Representatives to review sales performance and track progress on your goals
What makes you great
- You should have bachelor's degree; MBA is preferred and you should have defined sales process expertise to be successful in this role
- You should have more than five (5+) years of sales experience with large account management and more than three (3+) years in a management/leadership role
- Strong background in industrial gases and equipment
- Chemistry or engineering background is preferred; petrochemical industry experience is preferred
- You possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills with solid interpersonal skills
- You should be expected to travel a minimum of 25% for this role
