About the Opportunity

Motus Mahindra Paarl is seeking an energetic, customer-focused and results-driven New Vehicle Sales Rep to join our sales team for the launch of our brand-new dealership opening on 01 September 2026.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building customer relationships, promoting Mahindra vehicles and achieving sales targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking and referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Conduct professional vehicle presentations, demonstrations and test drives.
  • Guide customers through the vehicle purchasing process from enquiry to delivery.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales and profitability targets.
  • Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing within approved dealership guidelines.
  • Promote and sell finance, insurance and value-added products in conjunction with the Finance and Insurance Department.
  • Follow up on leads and customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate customer records using dealership CRM systems.
  • Ensure all sales administration and documentation are completed accurately and timeously.
  • Follow up with customers after delivery to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay informed on Mahindra products, competitor offerings and industry trends.
  • Participate in dealership marketing and promotional activities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Previous vehicle sales experience within the automotive industry will be advantageous.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve results.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver's licence and clean driving record.

Advantageous Qualifications

  • Relevant qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or a related field.
  • Previous experience within a franchised dealership environment.
  • Knowledge of Mahindra or other automotive brands.
