🧾 Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain strong internal controls. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and team supervision.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Supervise junior accountants and finance staff
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws and financial regulations
- Prepare and file VAT, Withholding Tax, and Payroll tax reports
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable
- Conduct bank and cash reconciliations
- Support internal and external audits
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records
- Implement and monitor internal control procedures
- Prepare management financial reports and analysis
