Role Summary

  • Our client is seeks to recruit a result driven Senior Business Development Executive to join her team in lagos and Abuja offices respectively.
  • The Senior BDE is a revenue driver + relationship owner.you open new markets, build strategic partnerships, and turn conversations into contracts. successful candidate willwork directly with leadership to hit growth targets while representing the company at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue & Growth Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets/industries Develop and execute account plans to hit annual revenue + pipeline targets Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → pitch → negotiation → close → handover
  • Strategy & Market Intelligence Research competitors, trends, and client needs in Lagos/Nigeria market Build go-to-market strategies with Marketing + Product teams Track KPIs: pipeline value, win rate, deal size, revenue vs target
  • Relationship Management Own C-level relationships with key clients, partners, investors, govt stakeholders Turn one-off clients into long-term partners through trust + delivery Act as “voice of customer” internally to improve offerings
  • Leadership Mentor junior BDEs/sales reps on pitching, negotiation, closing Prepare board-level reports: weekly pipeline, monthly revenue forecast Represent company at events, conferences, high-stakes meetings

Requirements & Qualification

  • First Degree B.Sc / BA/HND or equivalent in Marketing , Businesd Administation Communication or related field .
  • 5 - 7+ years B2B business development experience, Years of practical experience in Business Development or Marketing with verifiable track records preferably in Consulting Or professional services .
  • Ability to write and present top quality , job -winning proposals frequently with targets
  • Proficiency in the use of computer and technology to advantage
  • Goal focused and result oriented
  • Strong negotiation + presentation skills.
