An established telecommunications company is seeking an experienced Senior Fibre Optic Splicer / Supervisor to oversee fibre installations, maintenance, fault finding, and restoration projects. The role includes supervising field technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship, managing reporting requirements, and supporting network operations in the field.
Requirements:- Minimum 5 years’ fibre optic splicing experience
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience essential
- Strong OTDR and OLTS testing experience
- Experience with fibre fault finding and restoration
- Ability to supervise and coordinate multiple technicians
- Valid driver’s license
- Own reliable vehicle required for travel to and from the office
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work standby and after-hours when required
- Experience with Centricity or similar systems advantageous
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
