Our Client a Company in Hospitality seeks to recruit a Senior Reservations Consultant to be based in Livingstone Southern Province, Zambia.
Job Title: Senior Reservations Consultant
Location: Livingstone, Zambia
Reports To: Island Manager
The Role:
The Senior Reservation Consultant oversees the reservations team, ensuring seamless booking processes and exceptional customer service. Manage high-profile bookings, optimize reservation strategies, and liaise with key stakeholders to enhance guest experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and supervise the reservations team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in bookings.
- Handle VIP and complex reservations, coordinating special requests and personalized experiences.
- Develop and implement reservation policies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and tour operators.
- Analyze booking trends and provide reports to management for strategic planning.
- Train and mentor junior reservation staff, ensuring high service standards.
- Resolve escalated customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
Qualifications or specialized knowledge/experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in reservations or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in reservation systems and software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
