Shop Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers immediately.
• Answer inquiries about products.
• Recommend items to meet shopper needs.
• Process cash and card payments.
• Handle returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Operate a cash register or Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Unpack, label, and arrange new stock.
• Restock depleted shelves.
• Build attractive product displays.
• Sweep, mop, and dust the store.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.

Essential Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior retail or customer service experience.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
