Tax Compliance Officer

A well-established accounting and auditing practice is seeking a Tax Compliance Officer to join its team in Maitland, Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance matters for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timeous submissions to SARS, maintaining compliance with relevant tax legislation, and providing support on tax-related queries and administrative matters.

Experience Requirements:

·        Relevant qualification in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, or a related field

·        Previous experience in a tax compliance environment

·        Strong knowledge of South African tax legislation and SARS processes

·        Experience with SARS eFiling and tax administration

·        Experience preparing and submitting individual and company tax returns

·        Strong administrative and organisational skills

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax-related software systems
