Our Client, a prominent name in the Manufacturing Industry, is seeking to employ 2x Tool Maker's, to their team based in Uitenhage.

Requirements:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments.
- Good computer literacy.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Flexible and willing to work shifts and overtime when required.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Sound understanding of manufacturing and machining principles.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team environment.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Maintain, repair, and service bumper tools used in production.
- Set up and operate conventional lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD files for tooling components.
- Conduct measurements and inspections using precision instruments, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMMs.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve problems.
- Collaborate with design, production, and maintenance teams to ensure tooling meets production requirements.
- Modify tooling to improve efficiency and support design enhancements.
- Maintain accurate records of tool maintenance and usage.
- Adhere to safety procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
