Key Responsibilities
Distribution & Picking- Accurately receive and follow picking instructions via voice picking (Talkman) system
- Select correct SKUs according to system-generated instructions
- Ensure high levels of picking accuracy at all times
- Report empty locations or stock shortages to Supervisor or Team Leader
- Select appropriate cartons to prevent stock damage
- Ensure all cartons comply with packaging standards
- Request or select new cartons as required
- Load completed cartons onto the distribution belt for sealing
Equipment Handling- Handle voice picking (Talkman) equipment with care and according to operational standards
Reporting & Performance- Maintain productivity in line with hourly picking targets
- Contribute to reporting processes including pick reports and stock discrepancy reports
- Support accurate stock control by identifying and reporting faults or shortages
Minimum Requirements
Education:Experience:- Must have previous voice picking (Talkman) experience
- Previous warehouse, picking, or distribution experience required
Skills & Competencies:- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow system-driven instructions
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
Physical Requirements
- Physically fit and able to work long hours
- Ability to lift and move stock as required
- Good eyesight to read and identify SKUs accurately
