ProStaffSelect are in search of several JUNIOR CHEFS to assist with daily production and service, taking orders at the unusually large front counter / food preparation area, assembling and cooking all food to order, calling orders for walk-in customers and those seated in the 80 seater restaurant, handle stock control and service par levels, liaise with floor personnel, managers & assist with cashiers if needed. REQUIREMENTS: Matric / Grade 12 with Cheffing Certificate or Diploma level Qualification At least 2 - 3 years high-volume food preparation experience Excellent knife skills and confidence in hot and cold preparation methods Exceptional personal hygiene and presentation as all chefs are in contact with guests and in full view of all customers Experience working in an Asian kitchen or with Asian ingredients ideal but not essential
