Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or Automation
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar or heavy industrial environment
  • Strong SCADA development experience (Ignition, FactoryTalk, WinCC)
  • Strong PLC programming experience (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Delta)
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP)
  • Experience with machine automation, upgrades, and fault-finding
  • Understanding of OHSA and industrial safety standards
  • Computer literate (MS Office)
  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
  • Willingness to work overtime and provide after-hours technical support when required
