Luxury Confectioner based in Johannesburg is looking for a Sales Representative to drive revenue by promoting bakery products, including cakes, pastries and platters, securing new accounts; and managing client relationships . Responsibilities include upselling; managing distribution ; and achieving sales targets. Duties: Identify and secure new customers, nurture existing client relationships, and drive sales volume Provide friendly service, place orders, and resolve customer complaints Maintain in-depth knowledge of ingredients and prices Implement sales strategies and promote cakes and catering goods Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing. Oversee the ordering process and ensure product availability and freshness. Track and report sales volume and performance to management Requirements: Grade 12 A formal qualification would be an advantage Proven experience in achieving sales targets, negotiating, and closing deals. Valid drivers licence and own transport essential. Strong verbal communication skills for customer interaction and relationship management. Passion for bakery products and ability to explain ingredients and quality. Ability to use POS systems and sometimes inventory management software.
