Employment Information

Requirements:

  • Grade 12.
  • Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Finance preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a previous bookkeeping role.
Responsibilities:
  • Bookkeeping up to Trial Balance for at least 2 entities.
  • Processing point-of-sale month-end reports.
  • Processing cashbooks and bank reconciliations.
  • Processing salary journals.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts.
  • Payment of accounts.
  • Complete credit applications.
  • Maintain fixed asset register.
  • Full debtors function.
  • Monitor and follow up on stock count variances.
  • Reconciliation of VAT.
  • Prepare statutory returns.
  • Prepare VAT reconciliations.
