Clinical Technologist / Unit Manager (Polokwane)

What We’re Looking For:

1. Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse or with HPCSA as a Graduate Clinical Technologist
2. Previous Management Experience Advantageous
3. Nephrology Course (Essential)
4. BHSc Clinical Technology (Nephrology)
5. MS package (Essential)
6. Willing to work flexible hours if necessary
7. Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport essential
8. Renal experience (Essential)
9. BLS certificate (Validity Essential)

1. Ensure existing and new staff are trained regarding Patient Control Sheet System
2. Monthly reports must be drawn up and sent to the Regional Manager
3. Ensure staff adhere to the Time and Attendance system
4. Draw up and ensure that the Regional Manager has been supplied with a copy of the draft roster monthly
5. Advise staff of current and revised Company Policies and Procedures
6. Arrange with HR Business Partner for Unit staff to attend training courses and or congresses
7. Recruitment of new staff
8. Supervise and evaluate the quality of the patient care provided
9. Plan and conduct performance appraisals twice yearly and provide Head Office with copies
10. Ensure accurate monitoring and recording of stock in accordance with Head Office Procedures
11. Ordering of stock
12. Strict adherence to capturing DataWise information 
13. Maintenance of Kidney Wise program
14. Ensure strict adherence to all company Policies
