What you’ll be doing

• Personal Protection: Provide physical protection to high-profile clients, preventing and responding decisively to potential threats, harassment, or security breaches.
• Threat Assessment: Assess potential risks and vulnerabilities surrounding the client and actively implement security plans to mitigate them.
• Surveillance & Monitoring: Conduct continuous surveillance and monitoring of immediate surroundings to identify potential risks or suspicious activities early.
• Secure Transit: Ensure the client's absolute safety during travel, executing precise route planning and performing meticulous vehicle inspections.
• Access Control: Manage who has access to the client and maintain strict entry control at all venues or fixed locations.
• Emergency Response: Maintain constant readiness to respond to emergency situations, including security incidents, accidents, or medical crises.
• Conflict Resolution: De-escalate tense situations and resolve conflicts diplomatically whenever possible before they escalate.
• Team & Operations Coordination: Maintain constant, clear communication with the wider security team and the client to ensure seamless, coordinated protection operations.

• PSIRA Registration: Must hold a valid, active Grade A PSIRA certification.
• Industry Experience: Proven experience as a CPO or Body Guard handling executive or high-profile protection.
• Tactical Training: Advanced firearm proficiency and defensive training suited to high-risk protection environments.
• Communication & Discretion: Exceptional communication skills coupled with the highest level of discretion and confidentiality regarding the client's personal and professional affairs.
• Adaptability: Absolute flexibility to work irregular hours and navigate changing situations across day and night shifts.
• Professional Attributes: A polished appearance, high attention to detail, a solutions-focused mindset, and the ability to remain calm and effective during a crisis.
• Valid License

• Permanent position.
• Competitive market-related salary package: R24,500 Base | CTC Minimum R30,000 to Maximum R30,000 per month.

• This role involves demanding shift work operating on a 3-3-3 rotation (Day and Night shifts across Monday to Sunday).
• Candidates must be comfortable working long and irregular hours, sometimes on short notice, to match the client's schedule.
• High accountability and a strict culture of professionalism and vigilance are required for success in this role.
• A separate questionnaire will form part of the screening process.
• The selection process will include 1 to 2 interviews, comprehensive reference checks, and verification procedures.
