Moba Hotel & Convention Centre is a modern 50-room, three-star hotel on the Kitwe–Ndola Dual Carriageway, offering accommodation, dining and leisure facilities, and a Convention Centre for up to 900 delegates.
Job Summary
The Executive Housekeeper will lead the Housekeeping Department, ensuring guest rooms and public areas are consistently clean, well maintained and ready for use while controlling costs and upholding hotel standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, linen and laundry services.
- Supervise, schedule, coach and manage the performance of Housekeeping staff.
- Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation and maintenance standards are met.
- Coordinate room readiness and maintenance requirements with Front Office and Engineering.
- Manage linen, uniforms, guest supplies, cleaning materials and housekeeping equipment.
- Control departmental costs, stock usage, wastage and purchasing requirements.
- Maintain cleaning schedules, inspection records, inventories and performance reports.
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and support effective service recovery.
- Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, hygiene, safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Hotel, Hospitality or Housekeeping Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ relevant housekeeping experience, including at least 2 years in supervision or management.
- Experience in room inspections, public-area cleaning, linen and laundry operations.
- Knowledge of stock control, cleaning chemicals, equipment, hygiene and safety standards.
- Proficiency in a Property Management System (PMS) and standard office applications.
- Available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
