Moba Hotel & Convention Centre is a modern 50-room, three-star hotel on the Kitwe–Ndola Dual Carriageway, offering accommodation, dining and leisure facilities, and a Convention Centre for up to 900 delegates. We invite a capable hospitality professional to join our team.
Job summary
The Front Office Manager will lead front-office operations, including reservations, reception, guest relations, room coordination and administration, while driving service quality, occupancy and room revenue.
Core responsibilities
• Lead daily front-office operations and maintain professional, guest-focused service.
• Supervise, schedule, coach and manage the performance of Front Office staff.
• Oversee reservations, check-in/out, room allocation, guest accounts and records.
• Drive occupancy and room revenue through effective rate management, upselling and enquiry conversion.
• Coordinate room status and guest requirements with Housekeeping and other departments.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and ensure effective service recovery.
• Maintain accurate billing, cash controls, reconciliations and front-office reports.
• Monitor occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and other targets; address variances and report to the General Manager.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, SOPs, safety standards and applicable regulations.

Qualifications and experience
• Diploma or degree in Hotel, Hospitality or Tourism Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years’ relevant Front Office experience, including at least two years in supervision or management.
• Experience in reservations, reception, guest accounts and room inventory management.
• Proficiency in a Property Management System (PMS) and standard office applications.
• Knowledge of front-office procedures, room revenue practices, cash handling and controls.
• Available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
