My client, a well-established company based in Stikland, has a vacancy for a Foreman at least 2- 3 years experience in a similar role to join their team and assist with the day-to-day operations/maintenance.
Requirements:- Valid Forklift Licence
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Experience in maintenance (mechanical) and basic repairs
- Experience in production planning
- Experience in stock control and inventory management
- Ability to manage a small team of 5 people
- Own reliable transport
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Duties will include, but not be limited to:- Production planning
- Performing routine maintenance and inspections on machinery, equipment, and facilities, identifying faults, coordinating repairs, maintaining maintenance records, and reporting major issues to management
- Monitoring stock levels, conducting stock counts and inventory audits, managing the receiving and dispatching of goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, and reporting or ordering materials to prevent stock shortages
- Operating a forklift to safely load, unload, transport, and store stock, materials, and equipment.
