Talent Grid Africa, on behalf of a fast-growing solar energy company, is hiring Hub Managers to establish and scale the company’s presence in new markets, from validation and launch to growth, operational excellence and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end launch of new company hubs from market validation through operational go-live
Identify and secure suitable hub locations in approved expansion markets
Execute field-based customer acquisition initiatives and community outreach
Develop localized sales strategies and build strong customer relationships
Recruit, onboard, train and mentor Hub Managers and company Stars
Build high-performing field teams capable of achieving operational and sales targets
Oversee day-to-day hub operations and inventory controls
Collaborate with Field Service Engineers to support technical operations
Gather customer insights, market trends and competitive intelligence
Track customer acquisition, retention, operational and profitability metrics
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management, Entrepreneurship, Community Development, Renewable Energy or related field
3-5 years proven experience in field sales, customer acquisition, business development or customer experience management
Demonstrated success achieving sales and growth targets
Experience managing, coaching or leading field-based teams
Experience working in rural or underserved communities is an added advantage
Previous experience in renewable energy, telecommunications, FMCG, microfinance or community-based operations is desirable
