ICT Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Design Reports for the various stages of the project.
• Prepare high level cost estimates.
• Design and develop technical specification for building services systems, including:
  • Fire Detection and Voice Evacuation Systems
  • Audio Visual and Background Music
  • Data and Structured Cabling Networks
  • PABX and communication systems
  • Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS)
  • Security and CCTV
  • Internet Protocol Television (IPTV)
  • High Voltage Fence
  • Smart Buildings (IOT)
• Develop detailed and coordinated service drawings and layouts using AutoCAD (Revit/BIM skills are a plus).
• Conduct system integration across disciplines to ensure functional and efficient building designs.
• Collaborate with architects, clients, and project teams to align engineering solutions with project goals.
• Oversee site inspections, review contractor submissions, and support system testing and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and input for tenders and bill of quantities.
• Adjudicate and develop tender reports

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar qualification. 
• Around 5 or more years experience in the consulting engineering environment focused on building services.
• Proven project experience in hospitality, healthcare, commercial, and shopping centre developments.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant building systems and coordination principles.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD essential; Revit or similar is beneficial).
• Excellent communication, technical reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• ECSA registration or eligibility for registration is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to attend site meetings as required.
