INVITATION TO BID : Construction of an Agricultural Warehouse at Mulalika Camp, Chongwe District. TENDER NO;

1.Project Background

Good Neighbors Zambia (GNZ) is a registered international non-governmental organization committed to promoting community development, food security, and resilience in Zambia. With the support of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), GNZ is implementing the Sustainable Agriculture-Based Climate Smart Agriculture Project in Chongwe District. The project aims to enhance community resilience to climate change and strengthen household food security through the demonstration farms, the promotion of climate-smart agriculture practices, and the capacity building of smallholder farmers. 

2. Scope of Works 

The works shall include an Agricultural warehouse construction

3. Eligibility Criteria

• Be legally registered in Zambia. 

• Possess a valid National Council for Construction (NCC) Certificate under the Building Category (Grade 4 or above in Building Works Category).

• Possess a valid Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) practicing Certificate. 

• Possess a valid PACRA Registration Certificate. 

• Possess a valid Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) Tax Clearance Certificate. 

• Possess a valid National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) Compliance Certificate. 

• Demonstrate relevant experience in similar building construction projects completed within the last five (5) years. 

• Demonstrate the availability of key technical personnel and construction equipment necessary for the execution of the Works. 

4. Supporting Documents to be Submitted

• Proof of physical business address. 

• Company Profile

. • Evidence of relevant past performance.

 • List of key technical personnel and available equipment.

 • EIZ Certificate for the proposed Supervising Engineer.

• Site Visit Certificate issued by GNZ

5. Bid Submission Instruction: Bidders must submit the following documents in hard copy:

• One (1) Original and Two (2) Copies, each sealed in envelopes. 

All sealed envelopes must be hand-delivered to:

Good Neighbors Zambia Head Office Plot No. 6622 Mberere Road, Olympia, Lusaka, Zambia

The envelope must be clearly labeled: “BID SUBMISSION – GNZ/K/2026/005 – [Title] – [Company Name]”. Each submission must include:

• Completed Form of Tender (in the prescribed format provided in the Bidding Document)

• Signed Bill of Quantities (BOQ)

• Technical Proposal including Method Statement, Work Plan, Personnel, and Equipment

• Any other requirements specified in the bidding documents.

Submission Deadline: 02 July 2026 at 12:00 as Local Time. Late submissions will not be considered. 

6. Bid Opening The Bid Opening will be held on 02 July 2026 at 12:30 (local time) at the conference room of Good Neighbors Zambia.

The session will be attended by the Tender Opening Committee (internal and external members) and representatives of the bidding firms who wish to attend.
